Server

The Original Pancake House is seeking server candidates passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and accommodating customer experience. This position will greet and wait on customers, assist in keeping a presentable and clean dining area, and contribute to preparing and restocking operational supplies/needs. Our servers work as a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Compensation:

  • State/Federal minimum wage for tipped associates

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide great customer service while adhering to the OPH Way
  • Present customer food orders per Brand and company standards
  • Maintain a great working knowledge of the menu
  • Ensure customers are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Management Responsibilities:

  • None

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • None

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the menu with the ability to make suggestions.
  • Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
  • Monitor orders to ensure delivered in a timely manner. Escalate issues to FoH and BoH Managers.
  • Garnish orders to Brand and company standards and per customer request
  • Ensure customers are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
  • Prepare and present checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
  • Collect payments
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with BoH staff. Help food preparation staff when necessary
  • Collaborate with other servers assisting when needed
  • Maintain serving supplies and prep stations
  • Provide service via the OPH Way

  • Ability to work a 10-hour shift
